End of game for the “go fasters”. Five men, aged 21 to 45, were arrested on Friday and Saturday in Allainville (), Mantes-la-Jolie and , for drug trafficking. During this operation, Ofast 78 investigators got their hands on 666 kg of cannabis resin and 10 kg of cocaine with a total value, at the wholesale price, of 2.2 million euros. The quintet is suspected of belonging to a criminal group that has been very active for six months, which reportedly organizes a convoy every ten days for the local market. Which hypothetically equates to around 7 tonnes of resin which would have been sold to dealers in Yvelines.

It was in June 2024 that the “narcotics” collected information concerning this team of cannabis importers specializing in the movement of drugs from Morocco and passing through Spain. Supported by their colleagues from the research and intervention brigade (BRI) of , the BRIFN (financial) and those of Orléans and , the officials place a Citroën Jumpy, a Volvo C90 and a Renault Clio under surveillance . They identify the leaders of this small troop of narcotics logisticians. The police monitor their activities but look for a window of opportunity to arrest them in flagrante delicto. At the end of September, their objectives descended towards the south.
