There is only one left: since the departure of Japaniort for Bressuire, in connection with the increase in rental costs for Noron spaces, only the Niort Japan pop show brings together Asian culture in the capital of Deux-Sèvres .

For its second edition, this meeting of Japanese and more broadly Asian culture takes place at the exhibition center on Saturday May 18 and Sunday May 19. This traveling event, which passes through different cities in France, brings together artists and activities linked to manga and video game culture.

A guest vocalist

Conferences, particularly from manga series voice actors, are planned, as are concerts of Japanese or Korean music, for example K-pop. Demonstrations of Iaidô, the art of the Japanese sword, are also on the program, as well as multiple activities such as cosplay competitions (the art of dressing up to embody a pop culture character), blind tests or various quizzes. Finally, many authors, translators and voice actors will be there. Among them, the presence of Jean-Baptiste Maunier, famous for his role in the film Les Choristes and who lends his voice to various Japanese anime characters.
