The feature film, entitled “Back to Black” traces the singer’s career but also her personal life, more precisely her tumultuous love affair with Blake Fielder-Civil. The artist and the former assistant lived a tormented relationship from 2005 to 2009. The man, now 42 years old, is often accused of Amy Winehouse’s descent into hell and of not having been a good attendance for her.

The couple was the epitome of a toxic relationship, with multiple arguments, escapades and excesses. The two spouses have also separated numerous times and then reconciled. In 2007, they married in Miami, but they divorced two years later. Despite this separation, they remained in contact and at the time rumors of a second marriage had even emerged. In 2011, they separated for good. Blake Fielder-Civil is in prison for armed robbery and in July Amy Winehouse was found dead in her home following an alcohol overdose. Shortly after the singer’s death, Blake Fielder-Civil was accused of leading Amy Winehouse into her addictions and precipitating her death. Last September, on the occasion of Amy Winehouse’s birthday, he spoke on the set of “Good Morning Britain” about their tumultuous relationship and admitted his wrongs: “She was my best friend. We had our problems and if it weren’t for certain factors, things would be completely different. We were young, a lot of people make mistakes when they’re young. »
Blake Fielder-Civil cultivates discretion
A year after the death of his ex-wife, Blake Fielder-Civil also almost lost his life. His excessive consumption of alcohol and drugs took a toll on his health and the former video producer had to be put into an artificial coma. After several weeks, he finally recovered. In May 2011, with his partner at the time, Sarah Aspin, they welcomed their first child, Jack, then two years later, in March 2013, their daughter, Lola Jade.
Since 2014 with his scandalous improvised photo shoot on Amy Winehouse’s grave, Blake Fielder-Civil has no longer been talked about. On social networks he posts very rarely, but in 2021, “The Sun” reported that he had become engaged to a woman named Bay Wright. However, it is impossible to know if this relationship is still current.
