On set, the host revealed that he had been on X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend and had been mentioned. “Who was it, as usual, Jean-Michel Antipathetic, Jean-Michel Aphatie. I don’t know what’s wrong with him but he mentions me every day in tweets. I didn’t know this gentleman (…) and since I said that he had polished my nails, he is not well!”he blurted.
Sunday May 5, 2024, the Quotidien columnist attacked the fact that Jean Messiha went to Cyril Hanouna’s set. “It was on TPMP that the ‘star of the fachosphere’, Jean Messiha, announced his presence on Marion Maréchal’s list. Did he choose Cyril Hanouna because no one else wanted him? No need to insult me, I’m just asking the question as Pascal Praud says. Surprising, isn’t it?”he wrote.

On the set, the 49-year-old host blurted out: “Obviously I see that so what do I do, I respond, I’m polite, I’m well mannered”. On X, he then replied: “Hello my little Jean-Mi! You’re in overdrive my darling! You’re doing too much even on Sundays! And I admit that Jean Messiha polished my lips a lot less than you did on set! I’ll kiss! Happy Sunday polisher! PS: think about buying chamois leather, it can always come in handy!”.
Faced with his group of columnists, Cyril Hanouna said that many people told him that there was no point in responding. “I just looked at the people who reacted to his tweet. There I was at the show, I took out the popcorns”, he said. On Le Bon Coin, we can see the Quotidien columnist selling… A polisher! On La Central, he sells a Citroen C15, “not a C8 eh! C8, it’s rubbish and there’s Hanouna in it!”we can read.
