How do you feel after your first goal with Stade Brestois which gave them victory in the Champions League?

It’s an incredible feeling. Plus, it’s in the Champions League. It’s something I had thought about before coming. I wanted to do my best and score in games like that. I’m happy to have scored with my new club.

It was magnificent. It’s the first time I’ve seen an atmosphere like that. We hope our supporters will continue to encourage us. We’re happy with our performance and I hope it will launch our season.

Are you aware of the gift you are giving to your new club?

Not yet. I came for that, to score goals, to perform well in these kinds of matches.

For my part, it was fine because I had a lot of experience in the European Cup. Even though a lot of my teammates had never played in this competition, everyone was focused on our goal. What we wanted was to win this match.

Obviously, all the matches are important in this Champions League. I have nothing against this team but at home, I knew we could hurt them. I even think we could have scored more but it will help us for the next matches.
