At kick-off, Kevin De Bruyne was in the starting line-up while Jérémy Doku took a place on the bench.

It was the ‘Citizens’ who were the most dominant and enterprising in the first half, with Kevin De Bruyne twice (27th, 43rd) and Erling Haland (36th) coming close to opening the score. The Interistas, dominated, nevertheless managed to be dangerous through Matteo Darmian (29th) and Carlos Augusto (45th+1).

In the second half, KDB gave way to Ilkay Gundogan (46th). The two teams then neutralized each other. Despite the entry of Jérémy Doku (80th) and a last opportunity for Gundogan (90+4th), the two teams left back to back, sharing the points.

In Belgium, Arne Engels and Celtic Glasgow won 5-1 at home against Slovan Bratislava.

Arne Engels was at the root of the first goal, delivering the corner that allowed Liam Scales to open the scoring with a header (17th). The Scots doubled the lead early in the second half thanks to Kyogo Furuhashi (47th).

After the role of passer, Engels then transformed into a scorer, perfectly converting a penalty obtained by the locals (56th) before Daizen Maeda scored a fourth goal (70th). Adam Idah completed the Scottish work with a fifth and final goal (87th).

In the other games of the evening, -Saint-Germain narrowly won 1-0 against Girona. The Parisians wasted chances at the end of the game but finally opened the scoring thanks to Nuno Mendes (90th) to beat the Catalans, 3rd in the last Liga season.
