An accident involving a heavy goods vehicle and three cars occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, on the D 952, towards Gien. Two people were slightly injured.
A heavy goods vehicle and three cars collided on the D952, in Châteauneuf-sur-Loire, on Tuesday, September 17, at around 4:30 p.m. The accident created major traffic jams in the area, as traffic had to be completely stopped.
The collision took place about a hundred meters from the roundabout located at the exit of the D2060, leading towards Gien.

Two slightly injured
Seventeen firefighters were mobilized to the scene, in particular to rescue a “victim trapped in his vehicle”. In the end, two people were slightly injured and taken to the Orléans University Hospital. Five others, unharmed, were left on the scene.
The alternating traffic was due to reopen by 6 p.m. However, it will be blocked again in the evening “during the operations to remove the heavy goods vehicle”.
