These students in their final year of agricultural studies in Redon will be journalists for the duration of Space

They will swap their classroom for the aisles of Space, the international livestock fair in . The twenty-five final year students in Agricultural Operations and Management (CGEA) at Issat high school in Redon (Ille-et-Vilaine), aged 16 to 19, will put themselves in the shoes of journalists, from Tuesday 17 to Thursday 19 September 2024.

A first newspaper distributed at Space

They will distribute the first issue of their newspaper at the high school stand. The earth tomorrowin which they deliver their views on agriculture, written at the end of last school year. But above all, write the second eight-page issue.

In small groups already formed, they will multiply meetings and reports to write articles on subjects that speak to them, that they have chosen themselves, such as animal genetics. “We will try to find out if selection to improve breeds is not risky”explains Mathis Vuillerminaz, a high school student. Another group will be interested in mechanical weeding. “To the innovations, to the techniques of tomorrow”comments Jérémie Jouan, the class representative.
