Very heavy rains fell in the United Arab Emirates. The tarmac at Dubai International Airport in particular was completely flooded.

All flights had to be diverted on arrival due to heavy rains which fell in recent hours. “Departing flights continue,” nevertheless clarified an airport spokesperson.

Schools still closed
