This more than eventful Australian campaign is in some ways good news for Novak Djokovic who is marching to the challenge.
Indeed, it seems that the 25th Grand Slam title becomes a goal increasingly difficult to reach. As Nole doesn't like the word impossible, he will do everything to lift this last title.
Arriving in Australia quite fresh, the Serbian still had a little difficulty getting into the “game” at the start of the tournament before going into autopilot mode.
His ranking did not allow him to avoid a tenor before the last four and the battle against Carlos Alcaraz was therefore paid in cash.
But the Serbian builds himself in adversity and his desire to possess all the records and titles in history will push him to continue and above all to put in place a real action plan to succeed in lifting this 25th Grand Slam title.
We obviously want to say that the sooner the better and that he necessarily has his chances in the three tricks to come even if other great champions will be there to stand in his way.
-If we cannot firmly say that his injury is the consequence of a fairly short preparation, it is obvious that the Serb will have to be very precise in his physical preparation to avoid too much injury.
If there was any doubt about his motivation, this will now no longer be a problem or worry.
