A far-right identity collective was to meet
A meeting was in fact scheduled to take place this Thursday, January 23 at 8 p.m. It is the association Toulouse Initiative who is behind the reservation of the room.
A reservation that was actually made for the Némesis collectivean identity movement far-right for a conference entitled: “For an identity-based feminism”.
Anonymous calls and threats from the “far left”
“The announcement of the conference aroused numerous reactions, raising fears of radical counter-protests and clashes”, relates the municipal order prohibiting meetings.
A decree which lists the reactions aroused by the announcement of this conference: in addition to the damage, anonymous calls announcing disturbances to public order were sent to the neighborhood town hall and calls for mobilization were launched on social networks “by the Antifa movement and others far-left movements »according to the words of the decree. On social networks, anti-fascist or far-left organizations have in fact given “meeting at 7 p.m. at the Roseraie metro station”.

The conference is canceled
So many elements which therefore make the municipal authorities fear disturbances to public order. And led to pure and simple cancellation of the conference.

All demonstrations prohibited at the Roseraie this Thursday

Furthermore, the prefect decided to authorize the police to use drones in order to “detect and track troublemakers”.
Roseraie station closed
