10 people lost their lives and 32 people were injured in the fire that broke out around 03.30 at the Grand Kartal Hotel, which serves in the ski resort located at the top of the Köroğlu Mountains in Bolu.
FIRE AND RELIEF TEAMS WERE DISPATCHED
According to the news in AA, upon the notice, many firefighters, AFAD, UMKE and medical teams and helicopters from the city center, districts and surrounding provinces were dispatched to the hotel, where the flames rose in the early hours of the morning.
EXTINGUISHING EFFORT HAS STARTED
While those staying in the hotel were evacuated due to the fire, the teams continued to extinguish the large-scale fire. The moment some citizens staying at the hotel escaped from the fire by tying sheets together and hanging them down was also captured on camera.

Bolu Governor Abdülaziz Aydın said that according to initial findings, the fire broke out on the restaurant floor at around 03.30 at night in the hotel where around 234 guests stayed. Stating that the flames spread from here, Governor Aydın announced that 10 people lost their lives and 32 people were injured in the fire.

Aydin, it was reported that two of the injured who were treated at the hospital were in serious condition.
