Actress Reham Haggag was keen to support her fellow artist Yasmine Abdel Aziz and offer her condolences on the death of her father, despite the old differences between them since Reham’s marriage to Mohamed Halawa, Yasmine’s first ex-husband.
Reham wrote through the short stories feature on her Instagram account: “My sincere condolences to the star Yasmine Abdel Aziz and the honorable family on the death of her father. May God have mercy on him and make him dwell in His spacious paradise.”
Social networking sites had witnessed a major crisis and a wave of criticism directed at Reham Hajjaj, since the latter’s marriage to businessman Mohamed Halawa, Yasmine Abdel Aziz’s ex-husband, and despite the latter’s marriage to Ahmed Al-Awadi, the matter was like an ongoing war between them over the course of years.
The crisis increased after the announcement of Yasmine’s divorce from Al-Awadi and the spread of a false post attributed to Reham, written in it: “The happiest day of my life,” while the latter denied writing this post, expressing her anger at its widespread circulation and publication, stressing that she did not comment on what happened between Yasmine. The crisis worsened when Reham Haggag was a guest on the “Sheikh Al-Hara” program, and director Enas Al-Deghaidy asked her: Do you admit that Yasmine Abdel Aziz is the most successful among the female artists of her generation? Reham responded by ignoring Yasmine’s name and saying that the most successful artist is Yousra.
