Eagle-eyed Manchester United fans singled out one all-important thing from Amad Diallo’s performance against Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Amad Diallo has enjoyed a breakout season at the Red Devils and the 22-year-old Ivorian attacker has established himself as a key first-team player at Old Trafford.
The Manchester United winger has enjoyed a stunning run of form in the 2024-25 campaign and Amad recently inked a new long-term contract with the club.
Amad has shown his incredible versatility under Ruben Amorim, including playing as a wing-back and as one of the two No 10s in the United manager’s tactical system.
The Ivory Coast international made an incredible mark on Thursday evening after he scored a stunning late second-half hat-trick against Southampton at Old Trafford.
United were left chasing the match against Premier League strugglers Southampton before Amad singlehandedly secured a 3-1 comeback win and all three points.

Amad Diallo, unsurprisingly, returned to the starting XI against Brighton and Ruben Amorim deployed the Manchester United winger as one of the two No 10s.
The United star was a lively presence in the first half at Old Trafford, despite the Red Devils conceding early against Fabian Hurzeler’s side on Sunday.
Yankuba Minteh opened the scoring for the Seagulls before Bruno Fernandes pulled the Red Devils level from the spot-kick in the Premier League clash.
United were placed on the back foot in the second half after Kaoru Mitoma was picked out at the back post and the Brighton winger beat a helpless Andre Onana.
Amad was lively after the break and the Ivory Coast winger showed both his attacking and defensive qualities with how much he covered the pitch.

-Man Utd fans react to Amad’s performance vs Brighton
United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, praised Amad for one aspect of his playing style on display against Brighton at Old Trafford.
Red Devils supporters were impressed with the “scary reputation” he has for his pressing and one fan called it one of the “most positive things” from the team.
“Universities should allow scholars to do a thesis on Amad’s pressing,” one X user wrote.
Somebody else said: “One of the underrated qualities in a player is pressing intelligence. The way [Joshua] Zirkzee and Amad press helps our high press even [though] we aren’t great at it. Need more players like that, man.”
Another tweeted: “Amad’s pressing ability has a scary reputation!”
“Most positive things in this team are a result of Amad’s pressing,” a fourth added.
While a fifth tweeted: “The amount of chances Amad creates just by pressing like a mad dog, too. Too good.”
Somebody else posted: “Haven’t seen any stats, but I doubt any player across the top [five] leagues would have forced opposition defenders into errors that led to goals than Amad. The boy is a pressing beast.”
“Amad, his work rate is high! He’s solid both in attack and defence,” another claimed.
An eighth United fan said: “Amad has [five] lungs man, the way he is pressing and how he does it needs to be studied. Need another 10 like him, and that our forward press will be so lethal.”
