The forward netted after just 26 seconds to give Las Palmas a lead away at the La Liga giants.
Silva – who spent six months on loan at Ibrox – started the move spreading the play out to the right flank before applying a finish at the far post.
Winger Sandro Ramirez sent an inviting cross into the six-yard box where Silva was on hand to turn home and send Las Palmas into a surprise lead.
Silva’s strike comes just months after he netted a decisive goal for Las Palmas against Barcelona.
In November, Silva slotted home to seal a huge win against the Catalan club.
