Novak Djokovic of Serbia will attempt to move closer to a record-setting 11th Australian Open crown on Sunday when he dukes it out with a streaking Jiri Lehecka of Czech Republic. Djokovic is far from over as far as collecting Grand Slam titles. Arguably the greatest tennis player of all time, Djokovic punched his way to the round of 16 with a sublime 6-1 6-4 6-4 win over another Czech, Tomas Machac. Under the watchful eyes of his new coach Andy Murray, the world’s No.7 imposed his will on Machac, winning 80 percent of his first serves and converting 5 of 15 break point chances. Lehecka is the last man standing for Czech Republic after Tomas Machac and Jakub Mensik crashed out of the competition over the weekend. He trounced Benjamin Bonzi of France 6-2 6-3 6-3 on Friday to extend his win streak to 8th matches. Two weeks earlier, Lehecka had rattled off five impressive victories to top the 2025 Brisbane International.
