Fabien Galthié has made his choices. This Wednesday, the French Rugby Federation published a first list of 42 players chosen by the coach of the French XV with the aim of preparing the 2025 edition of the VI Nations Tournament, which will take place between Friday January 31 and Saturday March 15th. A month after the dismissal of the case having been pronounced, at first instance, in Argentina, concerning the accusations of rape against them, Oscar Jégou and Hugo Auradou are very present in this list.
Great first for Nene and Dréan
Also note the great return of Romain Ntamack, after 17 months of absence due to injuries. Returns also of Matthieu Jalibert or even Rabah Slimani, 1914 days after his last selection. Finally, two players will discover the Blues: Noah Nene and Gaël Dréan. The group will arrive in Marcoussis after this weekend's European matches. France will begin its campaign with the reception of Wales, before making three trips (England, Italy, Ireland), before finishing at home against Scotland.
