AS Monaco are contending with a raft of absentees up front with the likes of Maghnes Akliouche, George Ilenikhena, and Aleksandr Golovin all out.
Akliouche is not suffering with any injury in particular but is contending with fatigue, which also saw him miss the match against FC Nantes over the weekend. The France youth international underwent an MRI last week, which did not reveal any injury. He is being conserved ahead of the match against Montpellier HSC at the weekend and will therefore miss Tuesday night’s Coupe de France fixture against Stade de Reims.
Golovin is sick, as is Denis Zakaria, who missed training on Monday. Both miss out for Monaco. Christian Mawissa is the other major absentee for The Monegasques. Mika Biereth, signed from Sturm Graz on Saturday, could make his debut.
