‘You’ve gotta be kidding me’

Christina Applegate hit back at internet trolls who had negative things to say about the devastating Los Angeles fires that killed dozens and displaced hundreds of thousands of people.

“You know what I have words for?” the “Dead to Me” alum said to her co-host, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, on their “MeSsy” podcast Tuesday.

“F–king people who are saying that it’s, you know, ‘Good, it’s Hollywood,’ and ‘Those stupid Hollywood people,’ like, you’ve got to be kidding me,” Applegate added.

Sigler, 43, chimed in that Los Angeles is made up of one of the “most diverse group of people you have ever seen in one place.”

The “Married … with Children” actress, 53, said she thinks people who don’t live in LA believe celebrities “are just walking around running everything.”

“We’re, like, a portion … we’re a small portion of the city,” she shared.

“I mean, this is a city of people that are working their asses off at fast food chains or, you know, f–king builders and painters and it’s myriad groups of humans here. So to say, ‘Good riddance,’ is real sick and I’m not liking that whatsoever.”

The “Sopranos” alum urged her co-host to “tune out that f–king noise.”

“You are not talking about … that’s not California, you guys. Come on, use your brain,” she added.

Sigler shared that LA is full of “dreamers” who “work top to bottom” and “work their f–king asses off” to make a living there.

“Sure, is there a group of people that have been affected that will have the ability to rebuild their lives — I wouldn’t say easily, but soon? Yes,” she said.

“And are there thousands of other people that literally have no idea where they will begin, yes. And we have to hold both of them in our hearts.”

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Applegate shared she had to evacuate her Hollywood Hills, Calif., home for a few days due to the fires, which have taken the lives of at least 24 people since they started in the Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas last Tuesday.

Several stars have lost their homes, including Miles Teller, Paris Hilton, Tina Knowles, Jhené Aiko and Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
