On the victory against Como, he said:

“Certainly, it was an important victory. We know we must avoid dragging things out so long and need to be more decisive from the start. We’ll try to work on and improve these aspects in the future. Ups and downs? It’s a mix of everything. We play many games, and many of them are very important. It’s normal that sometimes things are easier and other times, even physically, they’re harder. We’re working a lot with the coach on our approach to the game.”

On recent time spent on the bench, Gabbia commented:

“Of course, I’d prefer to play all the time. I’ve always said that, even when I played more, I praised those who played less. The coach has many options, and I think everyone would like to play more, but we must respect the coach’s decisions.”

On Sergio Conceicao’s instructions:

“We’re trying to keep a high line and play a very aggressive style of football. These are things that will improve over time and bring benefits. The coach hasn’t been here long, and we’ve had many matches, so it hasn’t been easy to work much. Where is Conceicao focusing his work? The coach is trying to instill the right approach to the game, both defensively and in possession. Matches and results are the most important things; we need to grow while still bringing home the three points.”
