After 64 days at sea, Titouan Lamazou was in the middle of the Pacific
To measure the acceleration of time on this circumnavigationyou have to imagine that almost two oceans separate the pioneers of the event and Charlie Dalin. During the first Vendée Globe, 35 years ago, Titouan Lamazou was still in the middle of the South Pacific after 64 days at sea on Aquitaine Squirrel II. At the same time of the race, Armel Le Cléac'h, in 2017, was sailing up the Atlantic in the doldrums, without having yet passed Cape Verde.
