These are the first words of Léo Balerdi, the captain of OM after the disappointment linked to the elimination on penalties during the round of 16 of the Coupe de France against Lille.
A goal everywhere at the end of regulation time following an exceptional goal from Luis Henrique to equalize at the end of added time. But the penalty shootout was fatal for OM as in 2023 against Annecy. The Marseillais lost 4 to 2, without the unfortunate Jeffrey De Lange being able to take any penalties (all well taken by Lille), while Vito Mannone took two shots on goal from Luis Henrique and Jonathan Rowe.
