Anas Zniti surprised the members of Raja de Casablanca by asking the steering committee to leave the green team during this winter transfer window.
According to a responsible source cited by Hesport, Zniti demanded from Raja management the settlement of his financial arrears, estimated at 4 million dirhams, as well as the termination of his contract with the club.
The same source indicated that the steering committee, chaired by Adil Hala, is making considerable efforts to convince the goalkeeper to reconsider his decision during this transfer period, given that he is captain of the team and one of the essential pillars of Rajaouie training.
Zniti had missed some of Raja’s matches recently due to an injury sustained during the match against South Africans Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League. He made his return by defending the Eagles’ cages during the last Clasico against the FAR, which ended in a draw (1-1) during the fifth day of the Champions League.
It should be noted that Anas Zniti has worn the colors of Raja since 2015, after his transfer from the FAR. With Raja, he won several titles at national and continental level.
