The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced on Monday evening that it had carried out a complex operation in the Shaboura camp in the center of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades explained in a statement published on its Telegram channel that an entire foot force of the occupation army, consisting of 25 soldiers, was killed and wounded, after raiding a building in which it was holed up, and dealing with it with various types of weapons.
She added, “Immediately after the rescue force arrived, a minefield was detonated in two troop carriers, and fires are still burning in the building, and the clashes are continuing in the Al-Najili area.”
For its part, the Israeli occupation army admitted the killing of 5 soldiers from the elite “Nahal” Brigade, including an officer, in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip, which Hebrew media described as “a new disaster in Beit Hanoun.”
The dead were Captain Yair Yaakov Shushan (23 years old), Sergeant Yahav Hadar (20 years old), Sergeant Guy Karmiel (20 years old), Sergeant Yoav Pfeffer (19 years old), and Sergeant Aviel Weizman (20 years old).
The Israeli occupation army announced on Saturday that four of its soldiers were killed by an explosive device in an ambush in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, and others were injured, two of them in serious condition.
According to the Hebrew media, the four dead soldiers were Sergeant Alexander Fedorenko (37 years old), Sergeant Danila Dyakov (21 years old), Sergeant Yahav Maayan (19 years old), and Sergeant Eliav Steukar (19 years old), all of them from the 931st Battalion of the Nahal Brigade.
Earlier, Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, said, “The Israeli occupation will be defeated from the northern Gaza Strip without achieving its goals.”
Abu Ubaida confirmed that the resistance is still inflicting heavy losses on the occupation there, revealing that it killed 10 soldiers and wounded dozens in the last 72 hours alone.

Abu Ubaida said, “More than 100 days after the process of comprehensive destruction and genocide carried out by the enemy army in the northern Gaza Strip, our mujahideen are still inflicting heavy losses on it and inflicting harsh blows on it, which in the last 72 hours left more than 10 dead and dozens of injured.”
He added: “We confirm that the losses among the ranks of the disappointed occupation army are much more than what it announces, and the enemy will be defeated from the north of the Gaza Strip in disappointment, dragging the tails of shame without being able to break the strength of the resistance, and that the only achievement it has achieved is destruction, devastation and massacres against innocent people.”
The resistance has carried out bold operations over the past few days, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, and the Israeli occupation has admitted many losses there.
On Monday, the military correspondent of the Hebrew “Channel 13” reported exciting details, from testimonies of occupation soldiers, to the extent of the preparations made by the resistance, in the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, to hunt down soldiers, despite the fact that it was almost completely destroyed by bombing and bombing operations.
Almog Boker said that the soldiers told him that they were fighting in an environment monitored by cameras by the resistance fighters, and they had planted explosive devices in every alley, and they were being activated from inside the tunnels, and the underground tunnel network was active at full capacity.
