On the sidelines of Galaxy Unpacked 2025, Samsung is preparing new products for us that do not only concern its smartphones, its connected watches or its tools powered by artificial intelligence. Indeed, at the same time as its announcement of the availability of its Galaxy Ring in two new sizes, the firm presents us with the new update of its health application, Health.

In his press releaseSamsung tells us that the new features mainly concern sleep monitoring, and it is surely its “sleep environment report” which is the most impressive. This involves linking analyzes of the user’s rest time, obtained in particular using a Galaxy Watch or a Galaxy Ring, and data relating to the place in which they slept.

The application will take into account several factors, such as temperature, humidity or even the light intensity of the room to “ go even further in the analysis » rest time, explains Samsung. This results each morning in a report called “Sleep Environment”, which offers advice on making snoozing more effective. All brought into shape thanks to a pinch of AI, of course.

To obtain all this data on the environment, Samsung uses connected devices in the home via its SmartThings application. The connection between it and Health also makes it possible to adjust the parameters of devices, such as connected bulbs or the thermostat, so that the time spent in the arms of Morpheus is, again, as restorative as possible.

Personalized recommendations for optimal sleep

And, Samsung does not stop there, however. Indeed, Health can now suggest bedtimes and wake-up times, “ based on individual sleep patterns, habits and conditions “. The application will use the user’s health data to offer its recommendations. A feature which is not particularly new, but which is more than welcome for some.

Finally, the new Mindfulness follow-up should please the most nervous among us. This feature allows users to obtain data on their mood, before suggesting breathing exercises and meditation before bed. An essential if you are keen on horror movie sessions every night!
