Alina Fritsch was seen for the first time as department inspector Luisa Hoffmann in “The Dead from Lake Constance: Nemesis” (first broadcast: February 2023), the 16th film in the ZDF/ORF production.
Fritsch succeeded Nora Waldstätten, who played Hannah Zeiler in 15 episodes. Zeiler was last seen in the episode “Unter Wölfen” (on November 7th, 2022 on ZDF). At the end of the film, Zeiler, who had previously separated from her boyfriend, explained to her colleague Oberländer: “I’m going to the mountains for a few days” – she didn’t return from her vacation. Waldstätten’s exit was dramaturgically addressed in “Nemesis”: Oberländer learns during a call that his girlfriend and colleague has died in a motorcycle accident.
In the next two films with the working titles “The Wishing Tree” and “The Ghost Ship”, which have already been shot, Oberländer (Koeberlin) will investigate without a permanent partner. Broadcast dates have not yet been determined.
“The Dead from Lake Constance: The Medusa” will be shown on Monday, January 13th at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF.
