Rumors regarding the dismissal of the current Belgian coach are intensifying. A departure of the latter would reopen the door of selection to Thibaut Courtois.
Thibaut Courtois was very firm in his decision not to return to the Belgian selection as long as Domenico Tedesco was the coach.
According to AS, he communicated this to the general director of the Belgian federation last November. According to the Belgian press, Domenico Tedesco is on a tightrope and could be dismissed from his position soon.

The disappointing Euro as well as the mixed results during the League of Nations have raised serious doubts in Belgium as to the continuity of Tedesco.
Belgium has not won any of its last 5 meetings. Three names have already been put forward to replace the current coach. They are Thierry Henry, Ten Haag and Van Bommel.
-The former French U-21 coach was already part of the Belgian selection as an assistant to Roberto Martínez from 2016 to 2018.
Consequently, in the event of a change of coach, Thibaut Courtois should probably return to the Red Devils.
