Antwerp fans have great action ready with a wink at the Beerschot field, but the police intervene – News

Today the derby between Beerschot and Royal Antwerp FC is on the agenda. We have to wait and see what actions the fans have prepared.

In recent days, a lot has been said and written about the derby between Beerschot and Royal Antwerp FC. The condition of the field in particular is an issue.

This is how goalkeeper Colin Coosemans of RSC Anderlecht spoke after the cup match earlier this week in Kiel during a game of beach volleyball.

And the fans of Royal Antwerp FC have heard that too, about the penalty area at Kiel being filled with sand to keep it playable.

The field is and remains a theme. Some of The Great Old’s supporters had brought a nice supply of beach balls with them to go to Kiel.

However, the police noticed and intervened. All beach balls that the police could find were confiscated before the fans left for Beerschot.
