Aryna Sabalenka showcases her incredible dance moves yet again in Melbourne! Just a few days ago, the Belarusian superstar was spotted bringing her cheeky side in a hilarious dance session with her teammates at the Australian Open. However, the stand was empty at that time! This time the pictures are a bit different, as the current world number one failed to say no to a special request during her recent post-match interview. Guess who cheered for her from the stands?
Well, it all started with Jelena Dokic saying, “Enough tennis, you’ve got a bit of a tradition now when you come to Australia…I know you like your dancing, your TikTok dancing. So you did one last year and you did one this year as well, it’s now a real tradition.” Then on the big screen fans saw a glimpse of her recent dancing session with her team. After seeing this Sabalenka said, “I mean, I’m trying my best…As you can see, I’m not the best dancer but I’m trying my best (laughs).”
Dokic seemed quite desperate to see the world number rock the floor with her insane dancing skills! She said, “But I have a question, I’ve noticed something. You always dance but there is no one in the crowd. So I have an idea…” Aryna Sabalenka then gave a nod to her proposal but she said that she’d dance only if the crowd joined her. Everyone then cheered her up from the stands and even A-Lister Rebel Wilson who was sitting on the front row, got involved.

The renowned Australian actress, comedian, and producer was spotted cheering for Aryna Sabalenka from the stands. The fans were quite ecstatic to see her showcasing Sabalenka’s dancing skills after her emphatic win over America’s Sloane Stephens in the first round by 6-3,6-2. However, shortly after entertaining the star-studded crowd at the Rod Laver Arena, Aryna Sabalenka hilariously said, “Now they have proof that I’m the worst dancer.”
Aryna Sabalenka may feel she isn’t a good dancer, but her love for the same gets portrayed through these special moments. For example, last year, Sabalenka was seen hopping on a viral TikTok trend and dancing to the tunes of the popular musical artist Pitbull’s hit single, ‘Fireball.’ During that time, we saw her teammates including Jason Stacy and Anton Dubrov joining her dancing sessions. After that, in May last year, she was seen dancing to the same tunes during the French Open. Sabalenka even choreographed the dance with the kids.
Even at that time, she was heard saying, “I don’t know what else to do. I am a really bad dancer. I should come up with something new.” Her never-ending love for dancing was vividly portrayed right before the start of the 2025 AO. However, this time, Andrei Vasilevski joined Sabalenka, Stacy, and Dubrov in their dancing session. “A team of many talents?“, well that’s rightly said, though! Now, the question is: Can Aryna Sabalenka dance her way through to the third consecutive AO title in her career?

Former world number one picks Aryna Sabalenka as the “big favorite” at the 2025 AO
On Friday during an interview, Aryna Sabalenka said that she wants to put her name into history by winning a third straight AO tile. Can she become the first woman since Martina Hingis (1997-99) to win three consecutive AO titles? Well, if she does that she will join the list featuring the likes of Margaret Court, Evonne Goolagong, Steffi Graf, and Monica Seles.
Speaking on that during a recent interview she said, “I know that I have the possibility of joining legends by winning three times in a row. But I don’t want to overthink about that. I just want to do my job. Hopefully, by the end of this tournament, I’ll be super proud of myself and I’ll be able to put my name into history.” Who is going to be her probable obstacles on her road to glory in Melbourne?

With her win over Stephens, Aryna Sabalenka will face Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in the second round. If she wins that match, Sabalenka may face either Linda Noskova or Clara Tauson in the third round. Then, in the fourth round, she’s all set to face either Mirra Andreeva or Magdalena Frech. So, this is going to be a really tricky one for the Belarusian! What lies ahead of her after that? Well, if Aryna Sabalenka goes through all these rounds, she may face last year’s finalist Qinwen Zheng in the QF.
Can she beat her yet again in the same tournament? Time will tell! If she does, then fasten your seatbelts for a possible high-octane clash between Sabalenka and Coco Gauff in the semis. Then in the final she could face either of Iga Swiatek or Elena Rybakina. What does the tennis world think about her chances at this year’s AO? Well, Justin Henin looked quite optimistic with the Belarusian superstar. She said, “On the women’s side I really see Sabalenka as the big favourite…Sabalenka is defending the title, and I’m impressed with her. I’m impressed with the way she played at the Australian Open last year and the ambition. It looks like she wants to win more and more and more.” Share your thoughts on the same. Do you agree with Henin?
