Does your debut end in a breakup?

There is a romantic rollercoaster ride behind Gina-Lisa Lohfink: In September 2024, she made her separation from the musician Missy public. Now, in January 2025, the (ex) couple will make their debut.

Gina-Lisa Lohfink, 38, and her friend Missy, 34, can be seen in the current episode of the “Vox” show “Where love falls”, which will be broadcast on Friday, January 10, 2025 and now on RTL + is available in stream. And that despite the fact that the former “Germany’s Next Top Model” candidate only made her separation public in September last year. Now it is said that Gina-Lisa and Missy separated publicly to avoid the hate comments and continued their relationship secretly.

Gina-Lisa Lohfink + girlfriend Missy: As a couple on TV – but for how long?

In front of the camera team, Lohfink doesn’t seem to want to say exactly how long she and Missy have been together. She only admits “a year”. Her friend proudly reports that they are already looking for an apartment together. But their love behind the scenes is not as peaceful as they initially seem. The TV station explains in the course of the episode that Missy was not willing to do individual interviews and stopped filming early.

Gina-Lisa admits in an individual interview: “[Als] we agreed here, everything was still okay. But in the last few weeks everything hasn’t been so rosy anymore. The facade is crumbling […] And that’s just a shame and that hurts me too.”

Both the reality star and his girlfriend are willing to compromise for their love: Gina-Lisa no longer drinks alcohol for Missy’s sake. She, in turn, tries to come to terms with the public life and the attention that her partner receives. “Darling, I definitely think it’s great how you’re working on yourself and how things are going between us at the moment,” Missy assures Gina-Lisa, “that makes me very proud and happy.”

“Where Love Falls”: Gina-Lisa and Missy argued all night long

But then the discussions begin: Gina-Lisa wants more affection from Missy, who assumes that compliments are better left unsaid because her love is a basic requirement for their relationship. On the very next day of filming, Gina-Lisa and Missy no longer speak to each other. When asked whether her friend was “not in a good mood,” Missy answered with an evasive look: “I have no idea. Actually, I shouldn’t be in a good mood.”

The 38-year-old tries to explain the situation: “I wasn’t feeling well because unfortunately we argued all night.” Gina-Lisa accuses Missy of misunderstanding everything she says. “It then became a huge argument and a lot of stress,” Lohfink admits, putting his hands to his temples.

Gina-Lisa’s fear of loss separates her from her friend Missy

In addition, Gina-Lisa’s love for Missy is characterized by a great fear of loss. “I just want to have security,” admits Lohfink and is promptly interrupted by her partner, who explains: “It’s normal in a relationship that you’re afraid of being abandoned.” In Missy’s eyes, engagement or wedding are “no security either, these days.” Both women are now talking at the same time – and completely past each other.

Gina-Lisa interrupts the situation by urging her partner to the car to “warm up”. What follows are passive-aggressive requests, embarrassed faces and an emotional outburst from the reality star. “She always thinks I want something bad or wrong or that I want to make her look stupid,” Lohfink said of Missy, “and I don’t do that. I just want the best for her.”

While the 38-year-old bursts into tears, her partner sits next to her, at one point shaking her head ironically and looking as if she would like to get out of the car. Viewers will be able to see whether and how stable the relationship between Gina-Lisa and Missy is in the coming episodes of “Where Love Falls”.
