A fan responded to Dillard’s post by stating that Holker might have used her interview to raise awareness about mental illness or drug abuse.

The fan wrote, “I wouldn’t do it but is it possible that her intent is to make people aware of mental illness/drug abuse, recognize the signs and eliminate the stigma? I just hope she ran it by his family first. Not that it makes it any easier for any of them.”
