Bayern celebrated a 6-0 win over Red Bull Salzburg on Monday evening, and Vincent Kompany was satisfied after the game.
Munich – It was the only test match during the short winter break, but FC Bayern was able to gain self-confidence in the game against Red Bull Salzburg. In the 6-0 win, the FCB players were full of joy. In addition, Vincent Kompany rested his established professionals in the second half and gave one or two youngsters minutes of action.
After the game, Kompany appeared at the microphone FC Bayern TV satisfied: “We won, that’s always good and we don’t have any more injuries, that’s the most important thing. We didn't have a long break, we also felt that the team didn't need much to look good again. Now we’re looking forward to the Bundesliga.”

On Monday, the FCB coach was missing eight stars: Jamal Musiala, Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Serge Gnabry, Joao Palhinha, Sacha Boey, Josip Stanisic and Hiroki Ito. Nevertheless, the 37-year-old gave the all-clear and explained with a view to the Gladbach game on Saturday: “There are probably one or two players who can still join us. But we are also happy with the guys who are already here.”
The Belgian also said about the tight schedule: “There is simply very little break, and that will be the case for the next twelve months. We can now look ahead to the game on Saturday.”

Until the big game, the Munich team still has “some good opportunities to do real units,” as Kompany explained and continued: “Of course the goal is to prepare for the game and that has to be perfect. Then we’ll have English week again and lots of football again.”
After the top game on Saturday, FC Bayern will continue the home game against TSG Hoffenheim the following Wednesday (8:30 p.m.). Both Jamal Musiala and Manuel Neuer are said to be available against the Foals.
