A few months before a possible departure from Liverpool, Mohamed Salah perfects his legend in the history of the Premier League. Scorer from the penalty spot on Sunday against Manchester United (2-2) – his 18th goal in the league this season – the Egyptian striker joined Thierry Henry in the ranking of the best scorers in the history of the English championship.
Mohamed Salah has now reached 175 goals in 279 matches. The Frenchman and top scorer in the history of the Gunners had scored 175 goals in 258 matches, a slightly better ratio. In the small game of comparisons, Salah is ahead of Henry in the number of assists with 131 offerings against 122.
Lampard and Agüero in the viewfinder
The current leader of the ranking of top scorers in the Premier League this season could soon overtake other legends. Salah is only two goals behind Frank Lampard (177 goals), nine goals behind Sergio Agüero (184) and twelve behind Andy Cole (187).
The leading trio, on the other hand, seems more inaccessible. Alan Shearer largely dominates this ranking with 260 goals, followed by Harry Kane (213) and Wayne Rooney (208).
