INTERVIEW – Gaëlle Messager and Claude-Emmanuel Triomphe escaped the attacks perpetrated almost ten years ago. They answer our questions, ahead of the broadcast of the beautiful documentary What binds usbroadcast on M6.

Never a complaint heard during their interviews. The two directors of2015 attacks: what binds us Agnès Pizzini and Claire Denavarre, were particularly surprised. They were also able to touch on a reality which gave its name to their documentary broadcast on M6 this Monday: the survivors and witnesses of the attacks perpetrated ten years ago find themselves, consciously or not, linked to each other. A blood bond caused by encountering horror.

However, the picture becomes clearer as the documentary progresses. Lively friendships and joyful projects were born from these ashes, we learn. After the attacks and a long convalescence, life took over. This is the whole message conveyed by Gaëlle Messager, seriously injured at the Bataclan, and Claude-Emmanuel Triomphe, injured on the terrace of À la bonne beer, who speak before the broadcast of the documentary.
