Four years before the start of the first season of the Star Academy In 2001, Jenifer participated in another talent show. At the age of 14, she was on the stage of Star Seeds. “I really didn’t sign up for this casting willingly”revealed Jenifer on the set of What an era! this Saturday, January 4. Indeed, it was those around the 42-year-old mother who encouraged her to participate: “My mother, my aunt, my uncle interfered in my life. I was a bit of a tomboy and I had done a few stupid things. I wasn't going to school much, I was starting to mess around a little bit. They realized that music suited me a lot.” Facing Laurent Boyer, the young Jenifer performed God gave me faith by Ophélie Winter. Visibly embarrassed by seeing these images again, Jenifer admits that she was “uncomfortable” during his appearance on the M6 show. “I love Ophélie Winter, but I didn’t want to sing that song […] But at the same time, I didn't really know what else to suggest.
