It has been several weeks since the students of the Star Academy learn and progress at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys in singing, dancing and even theater. To become complete artists, students surpass themselves every day in classbut also on the prime broadcast every Saturday on TF1. After numerous eliminations, only Ulysse, Charles, Ebony, Franck and Marine are still in the running to win this 2024 edition of tele hook. In order to offer better shows, week after week, the students benefit from a Sunday debrief alongside Marlène Schaff, stage expression teacher.
Marlène Schaff did not much appreciate Marine's performance alongside Lorie, during the bonus on December 28, 2024. The professor “found it a little soft”. Marlène Schaff argued her point of view: “I know very well what this thing is 'I don't know what to do with my body' and if you start to think about it, that's all you feel. […] Get into music. If things don't move much for whatever reason, you're in music and you're a Marine.” For her part, the young singer later admitted, in the daily newspaper of Monday December 30, 2024, that she had not given enough energy during this performance. “It's true that on the Lorie medley, it was perhaps a little soft. I could have danced more, moved more. […] I hear what Marlene says. To progress, to improve for the future… I'm going to try to push the sliders a little more.”
Marlène Schaff: “I was the one who coached her”
And if Marlène Schaff's advice is so right, it's because this is not her first attempt. Before being a coach and teacher within the Star AcademyMarlène Schaff coached the show's candidates behind the scenes The Voice. This is how she met Marine when she was only 14 years old. At the time, no coach had chosen to take her on their team. “There was still something with the music because in fact, ten years ago, at this time, I did The Voice Kids, I went to the blind auditions, but they didn't not returned, none. there was something of doubt about the musicdid I finally have potential…”explained Marine in the Star Academy. Marlène Schaff remembers this experience very well that she took care not to remind the young academician: “I don't think Marine remembers, but I was the one who coached her when she did The Voice [Kids, ndlr]. It's been a long time ! We're in something else… She's in her adventure. I'll talk to him about it when it's over!” explained the professor on the microphone of South RadioFriday January 3, 2025.
