Gian Piero Gasperini did not like the refereeing of Inter-Atalanta. The Dea coach, after the defeat in the semi-final of the Italian Cup, referred to three slow motion episodes in his opinion decisive for the match. The reference is to the first goal of Inzaghi’s team, scored by Dumfries, which for Gasp was irregular for three reasons.

For the Atalanta coach, the work of referee Chiffi’s colleagues at VAR was not positive also because, according to him, there was a disparity with what happened on the occasion of the goal annulled against Ederson due to a millimetric offside by De Ketelaere: “It’s a bad expression of VARwho took seven minutes to rightly find De Ketelaere offside. Why not waste a minute and check that the corner is wrong? Avoid giving an irregular goal.”
