Capture The Bigdil
“Le Bigdil” back on RMC Story with Vincent Lagaf' on the verge of tears, just like the viewers
TELEVISION – A great moment of emotion for Vincent Lagaf'. 20 years after the show ended bigdil which he presented for several years on TF1, the cult game made its return this Thursday, January 2 on RMC Story. The comedian even almost shed a little tear, just like some won over viewers.
The first minutes of the show were devoted to a well-oiled staging of the reboot of the set by Vincent Lagaf. Alongside two gaffers, Nadia Anebri and Fanny Veyrac, he turns the lights back on, revives the sleeping audience, and welcomes Bill, who has not left his flying saucer during the 20-year hiatus.
« BEEP BEEP!! Good evening everyone, welcome to the Bigdil set! (…) It is with great, great pleasure and… A lot of emotion that I find you again after 20 years. But what happiness, really,” he says, his eyes very misty as the audience shouts his first name and applauds warmly.
“A real wave of nostalgia”
This return to television greatly pleased viewers who expressed themselves on social networks and, for some, like Vincent Lagaf', shed a little tear.

Others simply had “a real wave of nostalgia” and loved the 2025 version, which ultimately doesn't have that much difference from the show broadcast 25 years earlier.

The TV game was first broadcast on TF1 in 1998, in an adaptation of the American version. Let’s make a deal. At the helm, comedian Vincent Lagaf' and the blue alien Bill (in reality Gilles Vautier), until the show was stopped by the first channel in 2004.
Last June, RMC revealed that the cult entertainment would return in 2025, again with Vincent Lagaf' and Bill (still played by Gilles Vautier). The first modern version issue was broadcast this Thursday at 9:30 p.m., but from next week, the shows will be broadcast on Friday evenings.
