A YouTube videographer with more than 5 million subscribers, Michou quickly reacted to this controversy received at the foot of the Christmas tree.
YOUTUBE – A scandal that leaves a mark. YouTuber Michou's board game was recalled by the authorities this Thursday, January 2, on the grounds of “moral hazard linked to the contents of the game box”. The Rappel Conso site, under the supervision of the Ministry of the Economy, warned that the game was “not suitable for children aged 7 and over”, contrary to what is indicated on the box.
The card game, titled “Who will be the liar” is directly inspired by the videos of the young 23-year-old influencer. The principle is simple: players are invited to draw a card and answer the question displayed. However, one of them has been given the role of “liar” and must therefore answer the question by inventing information while trying to appear credible.
Problem: among the questions in the game, supposed to be « familial » and suitable for those over 7 years old, several relate to sex, alcohol or drugs. For example, we find a card “ have you ever had an erotic dream? » or another “Have you ever sent a flirty message to the wrong person?” “. These cards quickly pointed the finger at Internet users, with supporting photos, after Christmas, creating a bad buzz on social networks.
The game will be refunded to consumers
Michou then apologized via his social networks, citing a production error on the part of the company Topi Games. “You know me, I would never have allowed myself to put these kinds of questions there, and even less so for such a young audience”he wrote. “The box will be removed from sale and a refund will be issued to customers”the influencer also clarified.

The Rappel Conso site confirms this information this Tuesday, specifying that “following a production issue, around ten cards are not for children, the age of the target audience for the game is therefore not appropriate”. People who have purchased the board game are therefore invited to return it to the relevant point of sale for a refund. The box was sold in supermarkets, in stores such as Auchan or Carrefour, and in more specialized brands, such as Fnac or King Cadeau.
