Bérengère Krief: Where did the ecstasy go?
In Sex – the new show by Bérengère Krief -, the sparkling comedian addresses the role sexuality plays in our lives with a spicy lightness and necessary lighting. In a society that she judges to be in the midst of a “sex-recession”, the stand-up artist questions the place of desire in a relationship to sex often reduced to prevention, fears or clichés. However, when you think about it, this subject that we cannot talk about is certainly the most natural there is… You just have to wonder about how we arrived on this earth to be convinced of it!
A recognized author and actress, Bérengère Krief has made several appearances in front of the camera, notably in the successful series Brief or at the cinema in comedy Adopt a widower. After a first eponymous show and a second nicely titled Amourthe artist – whose outspokenness, let's be honest, does not surprise us – literally puts his feet in the dish with his latest creation. In his company, down with all embarrassment and taboo, we listen to him reveal his intimate experiences to us and we realize thanks to it that we are all in the same boat and above all, that contrary to what we have been unconsciously (and perhaps religiously) instilled in, there is no shame in feeling pleasure!
