Big cold snap on the horizon in the Oise. The mercury will drop considerably on Friday January 3! This is also one of the reasons which pushed Météo-France to place the department, like 39 others in France, on yellow alert “snow and ice” for tomorrow morning. The alert will also last until midday.
Be careful on roads and sidewalks
Even if there will be no snowflakes in our department, the roads will be made particularly slippery by this drop in temperatures. Patches of ice could form thanks to this drop in temperatures.
Caution will therefore be required on the roads but also on sidewalks, where the risk of falling will be increased.
Up to -1°C recorded in the morning in the South of Oise
We will count 0°C at daybreak almost everywhere in the Oise itself -1°C in the morning on the south Oise (Senlis, Crépy-en-Valois, Chantilly, Chaumont-en-Vexin). In the afternoon the mercury will rise slightly (between 2 and 4°C)
