After porting the episode Tropical Freeze to Switch, Nintendo will therefore offer players an HD version of the episode Returns, initially launched on a certain Nintendo Wii, at the end of 2010. Elden Ring: Nightreign
Officialized at the end of last year, this new opus is described as “an independent adventure“, which will be responsible for offering players a new gaming experience. In Nightreign, the objective will be to team up with 2 other players in order to face the night and the dangers it conceals together.
A cooperative action and survival game, set in the much-loved world of Elden Ring. By teaming up in a squad of three (the game will also be playable solo), players will have to survive a three-day cycle, making strategic choices between combat and exploration, to become strong enough to take down terrifying bosses at the end of the game. every day.

Ghost of Yotei
In 2020, Sony offered PS4 players a brand new license, with Ghost of Tsushima. Developed by Sucker Punch (Sly Raccoon, Infamous…), the game plunged players into the heart of feudal Japan during the Kamakura era, the Mongol army led by Khotun Khan, fictitious cousin of Kublai Khan, having landed on the beaches of the Japanese island of Tsushima facing 80 samurai.
In 2025, Ghost of Yotei will take place 300 years after the events of the first game, this time taking players to the Hokkaido region, during the Edo period. The story takes place in the lands surrounding Mount Yōtei (hence the name), a towering peak in the heart of Ezo.
We will play a samurai, namely Atsu, and the developers obviously promise an ever more immersive experience, thanks to the power of the PS5. Release planned for sometime in 2025, exclusively on PlayStation (and a little later on PC).
Mafia: The Old Country
In 2016, the Mafia saga returned to the forefront, with a much-maligned third opus, taking place in New Bordeaux in 1968. During the recent Game Awards 2024, 2K Games unveiled the first trailer for The Old Country, all new opus of this cult series, the first episode of which dates back to… 2002. Still developed by Hangar 13, the game presents itself as a prequel to the series.
Understand by this that the story will take place before the events occurring in the other episodes, with a Mafia: The Old Country which will not take us to the United States this time, but to Sicily (Italy), at the very beginning of the 20th century . The opportunity to discover the origins of the Sicilian underworld before its exodus on the other side of the Atlantic, in the fictional town of San Celeste, through the character of Enzo Favara.

Metroid Prime 4
First announced in 2017, Metroid Prime 4 has had a complicated month of development. In 2019, Nintendo confirmed that the game did not meet the usual quality standards required. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, that's its name, should arrive on our consoles sometime in 2025. Monster Hunter Wilds
It was in 2004, Capcom launched a new license on PlayStation 2, with Monster Hunter. Also available on PSP, on Wii, on 3DS, the saga will experience resounding success in 2018 with the launch of Monster Hunter: World in 2018, followed by Rise in 2021.

A new opus which will allow players to play as a hunter exploring the Forbidden Lands, an unexplored region populated by various creatures.

Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33
Among the most original titles expected in 2025, we find a French game, developed by Sandfall Interactive, namely Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Assassin’s Creed Shadows
It was initially scheduled for November 2024, but Assassin's Creed Shadows ultimately saw its launch date slide to 2025. At the heart of numerous controversies, the game took advantage of a few additional weeks to be extensively reworked by Ubisoft.
Remember that Assassin's Creed Shadows will take place in 16th century Japan, towards the end of the Sengoku period, and will allow you to play two protagonists: Naoe, a female shinobi, and Yasuke, an African samurai inspired by the historical character of the same name.

GTA 6 et Death Stranding 2… en 2026 ?

Among the most anticipated titles of 2025, we also find GTA VI, as well as Death Stranding 2… but will both really see the light of day this year?
Indeed, if Rockstar Games had formalized a launch in 2025 during the first trailer for GTA VI (in December 2023), there has been total silence since around the new opus of the GTA series. Many analysts believe that a 2025 launch is now very unlikely, and the game could ultimately see the light of day in 2026.
Ditto for Death Stranding 2, the new project from the father of Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima. Officialized during the 2022 edition of the Game Awards, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is still expected sometime in 2025.
