Ünye Mufti Ali Fuat Baycan stated the following in his statement on the occasion of the beginning of the holy three months and Regaip Night;
“We are experiencing the joy and excitement of being reunited with the three months of the climate of mercy, abundance and forgiveness, which have a special meaning in our faith, culture and civilization. We will observe the holy Night of Regaib on the night that connects Thursday, January 2nd to Friday. We give endless praise to our Lord for bringing us to these blessed times; We ask for His grace so that we can fully revive these days. Life is a great blessing bestowed on humans, and time is a unique capital. Almighty Allah, who brought man to the stage of existence, repeatedly drew attention to the importance of life and time in the Holy Quran and warned people to appreciate them and evaluate them as necessary.
-“We live in an age where evil surrounds life and cruelty, violence and wars become widespread” –
Essentially, every moment is valuable and there are some special slices of time that give people awareness, consciousness and motivation. In this context, the months of Rajab, Shaban and Ramadan, known as the three months, stand out with their said characteristics. The Night of Regaip, which welcomes the first Friday of the month of Rajab, the Night of Ascension, which reminds us of the miraculous ascension of our Prophet (pbuh), the Night of Berat, which is the occasion of amnesty, forgiveness and purification for believers, and the Night of Power, where the Holy Quran, our life guide, begins to be sent down, and consists of three months. These are exceptional times. Both the three months and the holy nights that these months contain are great blessings offered to believers in order to restart a life in accordance with the consent of Bari. For this reason, when the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) reached these months, he said, “Oh my God! He prayed and prayed, “Bless the months of Rajab and Shaban for us and bring us to Ramadan.” The values that this blessed climate reminds us of are actually the beauties that humanity longs for today. Because today, we live in an age where spiritual crises tire the souls, injustice, grudge, anger, hatred and discord are fueled, haram, sins and evil surround life, and cruelty, violence and wars become widespread.
-“Let’s revive these unique times in the best possible way” –
Today, humanity is faced with huge problems in the fields of faith, morality and law, and crises of meaning and civilization. In order to get out of this trap that makes life meaningless, difficult and corrupting, a person must first confront himself, purify himself from all evil and turn to his Lord. The three months we understand offer such an opportunity and opportunity to Muslims. In this climate of abundance, let us all open our hands to our Lord and ask for His forgiveness. Let’s review once again our connection with our book, our gratitude for blessings, our sensitivity towards halal and haram, and the relationship between our lives and our desires. Let us reconsider our responsibilities towards our family, relatives, environment and all the beings with whom we share life. Let us revive these unique times in the best possible way with deeds that will increase our faith in our Lord, strengthen our loyalty, beautify our servitude, and strengthen our love and brotherhood.
-“I pray that these holy times will lead to peace and tranquility on earth” –
On this occasion, I congratulate our nation and the entire Islamic world on the three months and Regaib night. I pray to our Almighty Lord to make these holy times conducive to the conquest of goodness, the conquest of evil, the unity and solidarity of Muslims, and the peace and tranquility of the world.”
