The Ministry of Interior’s agencies have raised the level of maximum readiness to secure citizens’ celebrations of Christmas and New Year’s Day 2025, to provide them with a safe environment, and to confront everything that disturbs the celebrations. The forces are implementing robust security plans, the focus of which is securing important and vital installations, places of worship, and tourist destinations, and intensifying security services and patrols around those facilities, to confront everything that disturbs public security. Securing main roads, axes, and squares, through the dissemination of traffic services and information, and the use of modern police vehicles and equipment and traffic relief vehicles, supported by the latest security systems, to link with operations rooms across the Republic, to confront emergency situations and quickly deal with them. Security services have also been provided, extensive deployment has been achieved, and the best trained police personnel have been selected to deal with various situations and emergencies, including qualified female police personnel in places where citizens gather, places of celebrations, public parks, Nile cruises, and public transportation, to maintain order and public security.
