Mavericks vs Kings Preview, Start Time, TV Schedule, and Injury Report

The Dallas Mavericks (20-12) are on the road Monday night, this time facing off against the Sacramento Kings (13-19) for the first time this season. Dallas is coming off a road loss to the lowly Portland Trailblazers and will be missing most of their regular starting line up. The Kings have lost six in a row and are looking for a fresh start after the firing of coach Mike Brown. Here’s the other things you need to know:

  • WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Sacramento Kings
  • WHAT: Playing hurt and searching for a win
  • WHERE: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, California
  • WHEN: 9:00 p.m. CST
  • HOW: NBAtv, Channel 29, MavsTV, and Playback with Kirk, Matthew, and David

On the injury report, Dallas is missing Luka Doncic with the calf issue, Kyrie Irving with his shoulder problem, Dereck Lively II because of the hip injury he suffered against the Timberwolves, Dante Exum due to his wrist injury recovery, Klay Thompson due to Illness, and Naji Marshall due to suspension. NEAT. The Kings are missing Jae Crowder who I had no idea was on the Kings.

This game sucks already. It would be amazing if Dallas found a way to win, but down four starters is absurd. We’ll see what we come up with after the game but this is by and large one I wouldn’t blame people if it was skipped.

As you can tell below, you can join me and some other Mavs Moneyball guys in a room on Playback (embedded below) during the game (though I may not be able to start it until halftime). Also, consider joining Josh and I on Pod Maverick live after the game on YouTubewe should start around 11:45 pm. Thanks so much for spending time with us here at Mavs Moneyball. Let’s go Mavs!
