Cagliari-Inter 0-3
Scuffet 6: the bench does well and it shows. He returns to the starting line-up, makes some good saves but can do nothing about the goals conceded. Found again.
Open 5.5: he starts off well, limiting the opposition's incursions and being found everywhere but slowly gives way.
(dal 14′ s.t Marin 6: from his foot comes the most dangerous action of the second half. It probably should have been inserted earlier.)
Luperto 6: precise in his interventions, tough at the right point. He keeps the Sardinians standing as long as he can.
Mina 6,5: blocks Thuram in every impossible way, making both the Frenchman and his attacking partner Lautaro nervous. With his exit the team collapsed.
(dal 1′ s.t Wietska 5: closes the score in favor of the Nerazzurri by conceding the penalty to make it 3-0 with an avoidable handball.
Zappa 5: for a good part of the match he controls the opposing runs, sacrificing the offensive phase. On the first goal he leaves Bastoni free and hits undisturbed.
Makoumbou 5: he started well but in the second half he was “canceled” due to the superiority of the opponent's midfield
(dal 26′ s.t Viola 5,5: his entry does not change the pace of the race as hoped).
I adopt 5.5: how his teammate holds his own for an entire time only to then disappear from the field.
Augello 5.5: some excellent forays in attack but forgets to help the defense.
Gaetano 5: Gaetano from last season remains a distant memory for the moment. Absent.
(dal 14′ s.t Pavoletti 5.5: enters, plays on the bank but together with Zortea does not intervene on the second guest goal).
Luck 5: it would have been a largely sufficient match if he hadn't forgotten to close in on the Nerazzurri's first two goals.
Small 5.5: he fights, he tries but he never worries the Inter defense.
(dal 39′ s.t Happy sv).
All. Nicola 5: they hold their own for a while with a fairly defensive starting line-up but they forget that to win points against much better equipped teams you have to be daring. Late in making changes, especially in introducing both Marin and Felici. Postponed.
