Winner of the Western derby at the Cholet leader (92-86), for which this is only the third defeat this season, the MSB has almost assured its place in the top 8 at mid-season (7th, with a record of 8 wins-6 losses), and thus validated qualification for the Leaders Cup (February 14-16, in Caen).
In a long-running match, Guillaume Vizade's players made the difference after returning from the locker room, relying in particular on a great domination of the rebound (40 to 29), particularly offensively (20 holds), thus offering themselves numerous second odds. Trevor Hudgins (21 points) and Mehdy Ngouama coming off the bench (19 points) played the offensive leaders, the latter putting down a big dunk on the counterattack.
