That morning, Gisèle Pelicot and her husband were summoned to the Carpentras police station (Vaucluse). Two months earlier, Dominique Pelicot was surprised by a security guard filming under women’s skirts in a supermarket. Since then, the investigation has progressed. At 9:45 a.m., a judicial police officer received Gisèle Pelicot separately. His testimony appears in the minutes at reference D40 of the Mazan rape investigation file. After dozens of seemingly innocuous questions – “ What time do you go to bed? Are you taking treatment? Sleeping pills? Can you describe a typical evening at home with your husband? Do you ever take a nap in the afternoon? » – to which Gisèle Pelicot responds in a relaxed, light tone, the agent asks her:
