In mid-July 2025, crowds will again make a pilgrimage to Bern’s local mountain. Now the first acts are known. Here you will find out everything you want to know.
Forget Christmas and skiing – it will soon be festival summer again! In 211 days to be precise, if you want to torture yourself up a mountain on what is probably the hottest day of the year to see your favorite acts on the Gurten.
This year’s acts include Nina Chuba, Macklemore, Cro and Will Smith (yes, really him!).
When is the Gurten Festival?
The 42nd edition of the Bern cult festival will take place – as usual from Wednesday to Saturday July 16th to 19th instead of.

How about the tickets?
Advance sales have been running since November. 15 percent of the 4-day passes have already been sold, as Gurtenfestival AG reports.
Regular tickets cost between 361 francs (for 4 days) and 129 francs (for 1 day). If you want to treat yourself to the luxury version with access to lounges and a separate entrance to the train stations, you will have to pay a little more (602 francs for 4 days).
