Lamine Yamal (17 years old) will be out for between three and four weeks. This has been confirmed by FC Barcelona after the Blaugrana youth squad underwent medical tests this morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper after the injury he suffered against Leganés in his right ankle.
“The first team player ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? had a trauma to his right ankle during yesterday’s match against CD Leganés. The tests carried out this morning have shown a grade 1 injury to the anterior intertibio-fibular ligament. The approximate time of absence will be between 3 and 4 weeks”, the club has communicated Catalan.
Therefore, the most likely thing is that the Barcelona winger will not return until after the Spanish Super Cup which will be held the second week of January in Saudi Arabia. What is certain is that Lamine will miss the match against Atléticothe King’s Cup against Barbastro and is a doubt for the first title of the course.
Hope for the Super Cup
Despite this, at FC Barcelona there is optimism for the youth squad to reach the super cup event in Arabia. The player will now begin treatment with the aim of being able to be in the semi-final against Athletic Club on January 8 (8pm) which will be played at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
